ParticipantHi,
I’m hoping you can provide assistance.
I’m looking to have leads sent to salesforce with the attendee information when an attendee is created after a ticket is purchased.
I was wondering if you either provide this type of integration or if you know how this could be achieved?
Thanks

KeymasterHi there,
We do not have a method available but I have seen other customers use Zapier. Since the attendees are stored in woocommerce as customers you may want to look for a woocommerce to salesforce zap.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks for the assistance Brendan.
Can we assume from this comment that each attendee of the ticket (Eg; If multiple on one ticket) would be created in WordPress as separate users with their attendee information attached?

KeymasterHi JD,
That is correct, one attendee is assigned for each ticket sale.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Brendan,
In addition to this point, I notice that in the backend of an event I can see a list of the attendees for that event.
How is a generated customer user linked to the event that they bought a ticket for?
Thanks again.

KeymasterHi JD,
So the ticket is linked to the event and the customer is linked to the ticket which essentially is a Woocommerce product.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Brendan,
I just made a test order for an event with multiple attendees. However when I went into users I was unable to see any new customers. However the attendees are still listed on the actual event. You previously said that attendees were saved as customers, are these customer users not visible in the normal users area?
Thanks

MemberHi @jaladesign,
I think there was a little confusion on that point specifically: attendee records do not map 1:1 to WordPress user accounts 🙂
Orders placed via WooCommerce are typically associated with a user account (though guest purchases are also possible). When tickets are purchased, one or more attendee records will be generated and they will be associated both with the order and with the ticket product itself.
In other words, one user can purchase multiple tickets (creating multiple attendee records) in a single transaction.
For tickets sold via WooCommerce, the attendee records can be found in the posts table using a post type of “tribe_wooticket”.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantI feel like I haven’t been able to find the information OP seems to be looking for as well. What it boils down to is:
Can attendee info (including custom fields, ideally) be exported? Whether it’s via Zapier or other means (I’m hoping to do so through my WooCommerce > Drip integration.)
I’m coming from Eventbrite and in my case I’m looking to get data to Drip.com. They had an integration that I built automation workflows off of, using “recipient received ticket” as a trigger. This way, it didn’t matter how many attendees one given purchaser purchased for… all recipients a) had data and b) could have actions triggered for each of them.
Can that functionality be replicated here?
I imagine the goal is similar here where he’s looking to get attendee data into Salesforce.

MemberHey there @dnssab,
Please do feel free to follow along but if you require any additional help, it would be appreciated if you could create a fresh topic of your own 🙂

Absolutely. In the simplest case, visit the attendee screen and click on the export button. Custom attendee data should be included in the resulting CSV.

I don’t believe we have a direct equivalent to “recipient received ticket”, but we do have an action (“wootickets-send-tickets-email”) that fires when the emails for tickets purchased through WooCommerce are dispatched.
Last but not least, please remember that custom development is beyond what we can provide in-depth support for. We’re happy to steer you in the right direction if we can, but building customizations is really something that needs to be driven forward under your own steam 🙂

ParticipantHi @Barry,
My intent wasn’t to hijack – it just seemed like the closest scenario I’ve found to my situation – – and yes, I have already opened my own ticket.
You’re right – CSV is a basic way about it but fallback if nothing else can be cobbled together :). Both myself and OP are likely looking for a more automated solution though.
Thanks for mentioning wootickets-send-tickets-email. I’ll ask the question that stems from this over in my topic as it doesn’t really pertain to Salesforce.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
