Selling tickets on WPML site

Hi,

I did read your post about compatibility (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/) and the forum post saying that Events Ticket Plus is not WPML compatible.

I need to choose now which calendar plugin I start working with and want to know if there is any work-around for the time being to sell tickets. I really want to use your product rather than other ones, so I’m willing to be flexible. Like would Event Ticket Plus work only in one language on a bilingual WPML site? Do you have any other suggestions on how to sell tickets using Events Calendar Pro until full compatibility is ready?

Hey Marc and thanks for getting in touch!

Yeah, WPML integration is something we’ve been working really hard on. In fact, it took quite a while for us just to get everything working well with The Events Calendar.

For the time being, we are working on getting more of our plugins–like Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets–integrated as well, but we’ve learned that it requires WPML to make some changes as well and we’ve had to work closely with that team to pull some things off.

That said, I do not have a solid suggestion for selling tickets using a multilingual integration. I think this is an area that all calendar plugins need to improve on and we’re doing our best to keep on rolling out improved WPML integrations as we go.

Thanks for your answer. I guess that leaves me no other choice but to go with Events Manager Pro instead (http://wp-events-plugin.com/). Doesn’t look as cool but at least they’re WPML certified.
