ParticipantI’ve got a series of 3 classes coming up. Each class is listed as a distinct event. Each class has its own ticket. I also want to sell a 3-class ticket which covers all 3 classes (at a discounted rate).
At the moment I do this by listing both the 3-class ticket and the single class ticket on the event page for the first class. But ideally, I’d like to have the 3-class ticket listed to buy on the event pages of the second and third classes too.
So I have two questions:
Is there a way to have that 3-class ticket listed for sale on all 3 events?
Is there a way for the ticket sales of the 3-class ticket to affect the stock levels of the single class tickets?April 11, 2017 at 9:03 pm #1268666Geoff B.

I would love to help you with this topic. Is there a way to have that 3-class ticket listed for sale on all 3 events? Is there a way for the ticket sales of the 3-class ticket to affect the stock levels of the single class tickets?
The are 2 ways to do this.
- Using the recurring events functionality.
You could totally take advantage to the current limitation of how these 2 plugins integrate together at the time of writing. To make a long story by all the tickets are shared between all events.
You could hide the unwanted tickets in each individual event using CSS.
The pros: very easy to create + you literally have the same 3 class ticket for each displayed in each class event.
The cons: does not really offer the global stock option (you will have to keep track of this entirely manually + some CSS might be required
- Simply doing a “copy” of what you did on the 2 other events.
The pros: You will be able to use the global stock option on each class event (between the class event ticket and the 3 day class ticket) + No CSS required
The cons: The 3 class ticket will not really be shared between the different class events (in reality it is just a “copycat”, not the same ticket) + you will still need to adjust the global stocks manually on each class event to make sure you do not overbook.
I realize none of these solutions are perfect, but I would tend to prefer the second one for now.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
