Selecting a blog category for iCal import

From searching, I’m guessing this is not possible, but I’d like to find out for sure. One of the options for the iCal Importer is “Category”, meaning, of course, event category. I’d like to be able to also select a blog category, so that when an event is imported, it is also turned into a blog post with the correct blog category (and thus the blog post will appear where it is supposed to). Is there a way to do this?

(Note, this is Brandan. I work with John and am working on the website that will be using iCal Importer.)

Thanks for using our plugins.

That is not a feature we have to turn an event to a post. It could be possible with a customization but that is beyond the support we can provide.
