Seeing if Events Calendar

My website http://www.rukes.com uses the default Calendar widget from WordPress. In 4.4, they took out the tooltips, so when hovering over a date, nothing shows.

I don’t think WordPress will bring that back, so I am looking up alternatives and came across The Events Calendar.

Does the widget calendar in normal or Pro have a similar look to the default one on my site? Does it offer “hover tool tips” to see what the date is? Or is it more “click on the day and the text appears below the calendar?”

Most importantly, does the calendar auto-grab from WordPress titles? Or do I have to manually enter the dates in this app separately?

The Events Calendar is intended to operate as a full-fledged calendar and event management tool and uses its own post types for storing events, venues, and so on. If you’re looking for something that automatically pulls data from regular WordPress posts to populate a sidebar widget, our plugin may not be the best fit for your needs. You can learn more about our widget offerings and view a live demo here on our demo site, WP Shindig. Unfortunately, the hover functionality you describe is not included with our widget (though it is present on the full-size calendar). Still, the WP Shindig site is worth a quick review if you’re wondering what our products are all about and whether they might suit your purposes!
