ParticipantEntries in first ical being added to event calendar pro data base fine. Second ical events are being pulled from Google Calender by event aggregator, per new import screen (and status screen – see attached). Event does not however get pushed to event calendar pro data base. Just setting this up, so only one event. Please explain.

KeymasterHi Bart,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Can you provide me with the URL that you are trying to import, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Also, can you enable and check the Event Log under Events < Help to see if you see anything unusual?
Right under that is your Event Aggregator Status. Can you take a screenshot of what you see there?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Bart,
Thanks for providing me with that information. I tried importing the URL that is not working for you and things worked as expected for me. I set up a Scheduled Import and the event was imported and there was also a record of the import in my database.
Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
Also, the screenshot you referenced was not attached, would you mind re-attaching?
Does the event appear on your calendar and just not in your database? Or does the event not import at all?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Bart,
Thanks for providing with that information. If you go to your Events on the backend, does the event appear in the Ignored tab?
Also, if you go to Events Settings < Imports, can you see if the Default Status is something other than Published? If that is the case, it may end up in Drafts or Pending.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantJaime,
Thanks. Answers
a) the event was in the ignored tab. I pressed restore and that
worked. It is now in the event list and the published calendar image.
b) I added two test events to this calendar, and they now appear. The
bad news is they are copied – two versions of each event.
c) Events settings imports the status is published. So I have two followon questions. What is the algorithm that causes an
event to be ignored? And second, how do I prevent duplication of
events. (duplicated in the event list as well as displaying twice).btw the calendar is on line, here http://www.pafm.org/calendar/
thanks for your help

KeymasterHi Bart,
Glad to hear that you were able to find the event. Events can be marked as Ignored if you have previously imported and/or deleted the event.
In order to prevent the events from being duplicated, you can try changing the Event Update Authority under Events Settings < Import to Do not re-import.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
