I am a bit familiar with the Events plugin since it is included in the Avada theme I am using.
I saw that the pro version includes reoccurring events.
I am looking for a solution to sell season tickets for a sports team, for all home games. Preferably with QR code control.
Is that possible to do with this plugin?
It must be a single ticket or else it will not work. With a single ticket the name season ticket would work but we can’t drown the buyer with 20 tickets for them to manage.
One more obstacle. The teams regular schedule is known when the purchase is made. But at the end of the season there could be additional play off games which should be included in a season ticket.
The QR code would work as a protection against scammers. We are a relatively small club so we know our club members well. So on occasion we would need to scan the code and see that it’s valid. But we don’t need a particularly smart system that checks the visitor in at the backend. So when we scan a code it would suffice with just seeing the same name as the tickets shows.

We actually have a free plugin available called Event Tickets that sets up the ability to make free tickets for events and another premium plugin called Event Tickets Plus that extends Event Tickets to sell paid tickets.
Those will work great for single tickets to single events, but I’m afraid they are well suited to handle something like a season ticket that covers an series of events.
Another idea might be to check out using Eventbrite.com to create a season ticket for an event. Eventbrite has all the features you’re looking for, plus we have a plugin that will import that content into WordPress, if needed.
