Searching for dates within an event category (frontend)

Is it possible to search for dates within an event category (list view) and return results that are specific to that category?

My results are returning multiple categories irrelevant to the current category page.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. When I’m viewing an events category page, I’d like to filter those events by date. When I do filter, it returns events outside the event category I’m currently viewing.

Thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry for the big delay.

We already fixed this problem, it shouldn’t happen when our next release goes live, I cant promise you any dates because it depends on the work of too many people.
