Searching for All Events in a Calendar

When setting up a calendar (The Events Calendar), a default search bar occurs just above the calendar. The options are Events In and Search. Can The Events Calendar search for all events or at least by year? That is, I setup a sample site, but I cannot seem to search for anything except by month (or day)? The requirement for the calendar is being able to search any event, ideally, past or future.

I should clarify my question as it is pre-sales. Does the The Event Calendar PRO (or any plug-in) allow for searches of all events rather than just searching per month? The needs of the sample are to be able to search any event on some text input past or future.

Hi there,

Sorry about that. The search will only search for events in the current month if you are in month view. If you are in list view, it will pull up multiple months. You can try out the different views on our demo site.
