Search future events from month view

Hi, it looks like this has been asked for before, but without success. I want to be able to search for future events – especially featured events- from month view, but it only searches in the current month. This seems to be a fundamental feature to me, available in most calendars. I don’t want to get involved in complicated coding (I’m not tech minded) so please can you just make this a standard feature, especially for the Pro plugin which I have paid for? Surely it’s not that difficult?
Otherwise, love the plugin….

We have included a way to limit the display to featured events in Filter Bar. You can take a peak at it on our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/month/?tribe_featuredevent%5B%5D=1

If you think that is something you would like as a feature to Events Calendar Pro, I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

I don’t understand – presumably the filter bar adds the function of searching for future events? If so, am I correct in thinking you are charging for this feature as an add-on? Having paid for events pro, I don’t want to pay more for such a basic feature as being able to search for an event…. please explain

Yes, the check mark to search within featured events is part of Filter Bar specifically, and is it’s own product.
