Search doesn\'t bring up event categories

I have just the regular version of The Events Calendar. When I add an event, I always choose an event category. Sometimes when I search a category, even though I know events are there, they do not appear. I always follow the same procedure but this happens randomly on the front and back end. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you in advance.

If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
