Search by ZIP Code

Hi, I wonder whether I can search events by ZIP Code, like: Is there an event close (radius of, say 100 km) to my location. And if not, can I search by my city, like: is there an event close to my city (say 100 km) even if my city is something like “smallest town ever”? That function is crucial for me to integrate the plugin.
