I’m currently building a website for a company that sells registrations to classes online – I figured that Events and WooTickets would allow me to do this nicely – because it would also give me different calendar functions and list functions as well.

What I’m hoping to do (and so far I don’t see this as easily possible since you guys don’t use shortcodes for some weird reason) – is add a Search Bar directly on the home page – that will then take the user to the calendar page, and filter it based on their search. (with very obvious options to unfilter it, to see all other events – or it shows them a list of the classes they searched for, and below that I can put the full list/calendar of all classes).

If we had shortcodes, I think the granular control of this would be wonderful – but I’m looking at spending a lot of time customizing, which isn’t worth it :/

What do you guys think? Is this easily possible??

    Hello RJ,

Unfortunately we don’t offer this specific functionality. Additionally that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums.

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

    Cheers!
