"Saving Recurring Event" is darkened out. Can’t select options.

When I try to edit a recurring event, and then hit the Update button, the entire screen grays out and a window pops up (also grayed out) that says “Saving Recurring Event. Would you like to change only this instance of the event, or all future events?” giving two buttons to select: Only This Event and All Events.

All of this makes sense and is standard procedure. However, it’s all grayed out, including this window. So nothing can be selected. The “Only This Event” is highlighted under the gray hue, so I can hit Return and it works. However, I’m needing the other option, and there’s no way to select it under the gray hue. I’ve tried the down arrows, multiple function key combos, but I’m pretty sure this is a bug, as I’ve seen this gray-hue feature before, and the normal MO is that only the background page is grayed, while the instruction window is not grayed.

I’ve tried this on the latest versions of Safari and Chrome, and I’m running Mac OS 10.8.5, using the latest version of Events Calendar as of 9-16-13.

What I’m doing now is just deleting all my events and starting from scratch, but a way around this grayed hue issue would be more efficient.
