I don’t have Community Tickets set up yet, but I will have it soon. In the meantime I wanted to get started on creating a Refund Policy and/or workflows for when a ticket is sold using Pay Pal Adaptive payments, and then a refund is issued.
My understanding is that with the Pay Pal Adaptive Payments, when someone buys a ticket the payment is split (according to whatever % or fee I decide upon) and the money is then sent to both me (the web site owner) and the event organizer. This is great.
But when the person wants a refund for the ticket, my understanding is that PayPal refunds the person in full from my PayPal account, and then I have to try to get the money that the event organizer still has. Does anyone have a sample Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Agreement or workflow that they use to make sure event organizers understand that when a ticket is refunded, they are obligated to refund their part of the ticket price back to me?
