ParticipantAs the Admin, when I cancel an RSVP from an event, I expect that it should become available, within the total available, again for another guest that signs up. But it doesn’t – and so I have to increase the total RSVP limit in order to fill the spots for the event.
And at that point, on the public event page, the total available RSVPs is the new higher limit rather than the actual (original) event limit set.
This could be a problem when we have an even with limited capacity – people questioning why we set a higher limit that will oversell venue.
Is this the way the RSVP ticketing should run?

KeymasterHi Jeff,
Thanks for reaching out!
When you delete an attendee, the stock should increase by 1 automatically. This article has some more details on cancellations.
Just to clarify, are you deleting attendees from an RSVP, or are you deleting the RSVP altogether from the event?

ParticipantI am deleting individual RSVP’s from a registration program that remains active.

KeymasterThanks for clarifying that. I tested this out in my local environment but was not able to recreate this issue…deleting an RSVP does increase the stock by 1 on my end. When you created this RSVP, did you set the capacity available at that time, or did you add/change it after someone had already registered (prior to deleting any attendees)?
If you haven’t done so already, try running through the steps outlined here to test for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin (you can alternatively try using a plugin like Health Check to test this out). Make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing, and copy/paste any errors that you see into a private reply. If you don’t have a testing site already, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Please let me know what you find!
