RSVP Spam

Our RSVP events are getting spammed until it fills the capacity, further we believe we are receiving ‘error establishing a database connection’ as it is connected to the spam. It appears that our server is getting spammed a lot which in turn might be slowing down the connection between the website and the database. We are using the Wordfence plugin to help combat spam.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Currently, the best built-in way to prevent RSVP spam is to use the Require users to log in before they RSVP option in Events -> Settings -> Tickets

That being said, you can still add reCaptcha to any form. To do that you will have to do a template customization.
