RSVP option doesn\'t appear on events

“The Events Calendar” was distributed with a theme I recently purchased. I have installed and configured the Event Ticket add-on per the documentation. I also created a ticket type for an event (RSVP). However, the event does not show a ticket option. I have tried this with two separate events but have the same behavior.
