Hi, I am very interested in purchasing Events Calendar Pro for a new project. I need to develop an events directory for our clients’ businesses located all over the USA. We would allow these businesses to list their events in the events directory we are designing. Some are one time events, but many are recurring weekly. The entire site would be only this service, so we would simply use this plugin on a theme that it is compatible with. We are then developing a mobile app to support the website, and the mobile app design requires that the listings be able to have an rss output feed from the website to drive the content for the app. We would need multiple feeds since there are at least 3 main categories for business types, example: Ice Cream Stores, Gas Stations, Beauty Salons. The app user would choose a main category and then each feed would access the data from the site for those categories. Then the user could search within that specific category by a city list to find events in their area. Does your plugin have the ability to export the listings using an RSS feed as I outlined above? If this can’t be done out of the box, please let me know if its possible to get some technical help (paid of course) to design this in.
    Thanks,
    Barry

    Hi Barry,

That is an interesting project you are working on. I can help answer your questions.

First we do not do paid customizations on the plugin. We only support it and try to help get people started if we can, but that is about it. We do have a list of developers here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/freelance-developers-for-customizations/

    As for the RSS.

We do have built in feeds for the Calendar and Categories.

So if you have a category called convention this would be the feed url:

    yoursite.com/events/category/convention/feed/

Also there is a feed for the main events view here:

    yoursite.com/events/

You can see these all working in the core version of the Events Calendar on WordPress.org

    The Events Calendar

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
