RSS Feed Doesn't Match Event List

I use The Events Calendar, but this particular problem involves using RSS to display events from someone else’s The Events Calendar on another site. I thought RSS would do what we need done, but it appears the feed doesn’t match what the list view is displaying.

Here is the Events Calendar content we want to display on another site:

And here is the page where the RSS feed is displayed:

Do you have any ideas on how to better sync or sort the RSS data? I’m using HungryFeed to display the RSS with a shortcode on the page.

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

What are you using as the RSS feed url? The exact url?

If I use this url I get the correct order of events showing in my browser:

http://greenwoodcalendar.com/events/feed/

So it looks like the coding is correctly ordering the rss feed from our plugin.

It appears the rss reader on the other site is changing the order.

You might have to create a custom rss reader to reorder the events correctly.

Unfortunately, as rss was designed to show the latest content first it can create issues such as this as events do not follow that rule.

I can try to help out some more here, but unable to provide much more on this as it is not a feature we support.
