    Hi,
I am trying to promote our event calendar by getting our audience to subscribe to our RSS feed of the event calendar: https://activeacadiana.com/events/feed/

However, the date displayed in the RSS feed is the day before the actual event , this is causing mass confusion among our audience.

    Can this be fixed ?

    Hi there,

Can you also try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you would prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Let me know what you find!

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi,
There are no conflicts. If you search your forum , you’ll see this is a known issue with several listings on the topic. I found a snippet that compensates by offsetting the UTC time. Fortunately, i dont list the time on my events, just the day (all day event is checked)
So the offset is a temporary bandaid.

Is there a permanent fix for this in the works?

    Hi There,

I only see one bug for the RSS feeds but it does not involved a date. Can you link me to this similar issue you found? I can investigate from there.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
