RSS Feed Additions

Followed the second part of this tutorial: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-add-events-to-your-rss-feed/
When I go to http://innewbraunfels.com/events/category/visit/feed/, the <ev:startdate> tag doesn’t show up anywhere. I want to pull a specific category, not use the general RSS feed. Is this possible? Or should I add it to the main RSS and pass a variable in the string to directly pull that category?

Hi!

When I test that out myself (using just the snippet responsible for adding event start/end times) it works perfectly within event category feeds. Can you share the code you added (ideally via a service like Pastebin or Gist)?

OK. On doing the same thing (and, to be clear, in this case we’re interested in the second snippet from that tutorial) this works as expected.

Could something else be getting in the way? Might it be worth running through our standard troubleshooting steps and – before reactivating anything – add the snippet and see if it works then?
