Retain HTML formatting in list view excerpt

Hello,
I’ve searched the forums and I’m not getting real clear instructions on how to retain html formatting in my event excerpts in the list view.
I have created a manual excerpt with no effect.
I would greatly appreciate your detailed instructions.

We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.

 

Many WordPress themes will automatically strip any excerpt of any HTML tags (which I believe is your case here).

So you have a couple of solutions:

• Edit the functions.php file of your WordPress theme after reading the following post.
• Try using a plugin to accomplish this
