My site currently uses the UltimateMember plugin as a core component of our site. Currently with the community events plugin, when a user who hasn’t logged into the site and tries to submit an event through community events, the user is directed to the default WP login form wp_login_form(). In our case, we would like to use the UltimateMember login form which can be inputted anywhere using shortcodes. This also provides us with a custom registration form that currently in the community events plugin directs registrations to the default WP backend version which we don’t use.

Is there a way (without directly modifying the code) where I can replace the call to wp_login_form() with a shortcoded login form from ultimate member?

    Hi Stephen!

This would be custom functionality that is outside the scope of what we can support for the community events plugin. That being said, you may be able to achieve this by creating a custom page that uses the UltimateMember shortcode, and then adding a redirect from the standard login url to your custom page.

Good luck, and let us know if you have any Community Events plugin specific questions or issues in the future.

    Thanks,
    Sky

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
