ParticipantI have the following problem.
An event takes place on 3 days. I have made this a “full day” event and specified the times in the event description. Now I want to run this event as a series with on different dates. For the sake of example lets say that the original event in the series is:
01.01.2017 – 03.01.2017
I want to repeat this event then on
05.01.2017-07.01.2017 and on
17.02.2017-18.02.2017 and on
06.04.2017-08.04.2017So the intervals are random.
For single day events that is not a problem. I just specify the recurring dates via “date” function. However for multi-day events WITHOUT start and end time, the recurring event is only 1 day. If I set start time and end time, then everything works, for example like this:
05.01.2017 10:00 – 07.01.2017 17:00 and on
17.02.2017 10:00 – 18.02.2017 17:00So to wrap this up: If start time and end time is set, the recurring events set via “date” have the correct duration (3 days). If the start time and end time is not set, then the recurring events are only 1 day, instead of 3 days.
I think it is a bug in the “full day event” setting, that ignores multiple days in recurring events.

MemberGood evening Corinna and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about events spanning over several days not repeating properly while using the “all day event” option. I would love to help you with this topic.
You are correct in your assessment of what is going on. The End of Day is the issue in this case.
The good news is that we are about to rework this section of our code specifically. So timing could not be better.
Let me see if it is possible to get some kind of snippet solution as a workaround. I will ask Dev tomorrow.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
