repeating event links from menu

repeating event links only work sometimes from my dropdown menu. EVENTS DROP DOWN for “Hatha Yoga Every Sunday 10:30” on this page

sometimes links to this http://createagogo.com/2014-02-02
which is dead
and sometimes links to this http://createagogo.com/?tribe_events=yoga-sundays-at-1030-am-2-2-2-2&eventDate=2014-02-02
which is the current working next event link.
This seems to be true for ALL REPEATING EVENTS, sometimes they work, most often they do not. If I make the event NON REPEATING it works again.

This morning, the first time I clicked on this in the EVENTS drop down at the top “Hatha Yoga every Sunday at 10:30 am” it worked and went to the next event in the series

Again, the web page with the drop down at the top menu is: http://createagogo.com/
It was the SECOND (and third and fourth) TIME I clicked on it that went to this dead link.

Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to hear you’re having problems, but hopefully I can help you out here. Our plugins work best when the ‘Default’ Permalinks option isn’t selected in WordPress. If you go into ‘Settings->Permalinks’ you’ll see many different options for setting up your URLs. Select any one of those besides ‘Default’ and click ‘Save Changes.’

That seems to have fixed it. I know there was a note about that in something I saw, but I didn’t understand what it meant. Thank you for your explanation. I’m very happy with the easy fixes I’ve gotten, and with the calendar in general. Best regards.
