    Hello,
this is not the first time I’m coming up with the subject and I?m not going to duplicate the site for a no plugin/twentyfouteen configuration.
As you can see below, i’ve set 2 other dates for the event https://news.swissinformatics.org/fr/?tribe_events=management-de-la-complexite&eventDate=2016-10-03 but they do not appear in the list on month calendar.
I have a hint, It might be related to WPML:
On another event created in the default language. https://news.swissinformatics.org/de/?tribe_events=schweizer-informatik-gesellschaft-studie-zur-digitalen-transformation-in-industrie-und-gesellschaft&eventDate=2016-09-11 the repeat “every sunday until…” works in German but not in other languages..

Could you investigate with the WPML plugin (I also have a paid subscription with them with [email protected] address).
I can be reached by phone and watched with TeamViewer or even create you an administrative login and communicate you the password by phone .
Thank you very much for your help.
PS I just bought community events to give it a try, Why did you not put the “add media button” next to the editor, this is the only way to use PDF embedder. Thanks for forwarding tip.

Good evening Gilbert and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing while using recurring events with WPML on your install. I would love to help you with this topic.

As it turns out, we unfortunately do not currently fully support recurring events with WPML.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might be creating.

That being said, I have some pretty good news: we are just about to release that feature in the upcoming 4.3 version (which is scheduled for early October). So stay tuned!

In the meantime, we do have a manual workaround available. It is not perfect, but it gets most of the functionality up and running. It involves some manual updates using phpMyAdmin.

Let me know if that is something that could interest you ?

Why did you not put the “add media button” next to the editor, this is the only way to use PDF embedder.

This is a great question. The short answer is that I am not sure why that is the case.
So I will forward the question.

With that in mind, I can totally see how this would be a cool feature. In fact, you can suggest it or cast your vote on other features in our User Voice forum.

You could also include the button via a template customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Finally, please note that Community Events and WPML are not yet fully supported together.
But we are totally working with the WPML team to make all of our plugins work together nicely.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good morning Gilbert,

    Thank you for writing back.

Here is the manual workaround: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/wpml-recurring-events-3/#post-1142644

I also found the following plugin which could help (but it’s untested): https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/solution-for-wpml-events-calendar-pro-recurring-events-compatibility/#post-944883

In both cases, I really recommend making a full backup of the database first.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
