ParticipantI mistakenly purchased a new license instead of renewing the license that had expired. Can I use the new license and how do I get my website to recognize that? Or can I “return” that license and renew the expired license?

KeymasterHi Mary,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can use the new license by changing the license key on your site under Events Settings < Licenses to the new license key, which can be found on your License Keys page.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime,
Unfortunately, I bought a new license instead of renewing the license that our web designer had purchased. She made modifications to the calendar and if I upload the new license it will overwrite those. I think what I need to do is “return” the license I purchased and renew the old one. Does that make any sense?
Thanks for your help.

KeymasterHi Mary,
I have refunded you for the new license, you should see funds returned to your account within 5-10 days.
You can now go ahead and renew your old license.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantThank you for refunding the license fee. I upgraded the existing license and pasted the key into the appropriate place on my website but I’m still getting the message “Your Event Aggregator license key is invalid. Visit the Events Calendar website to check your licenses.” Any help would be appreciated.

KeymasterHi Mary,
Can you take a screenshot of what you see under Events Settings < Licenses?
It looks like you tried to enter your Events Calendar PRO license, but in the Event Aggregator field instead.
Can you try removing the license from that slot and entering it into the Events Calendar PRO slot?
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantJust sent you the screen shot on the other email. Attached here again. There is no filed or the events calendar pro license but only for the Events Aggregator and that’s where the old key was.thanks and please advise.

KeymasterHi Mary,
I am not seeing a screenshot attached, would you mind re-attaching?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime
