Renew ahead of expiration?

Our active license does not expire until July 2018. If I renew it now (March 2018), will the new expiration be July 2019 or March 2019?

Are you lookin to upgrade your license, or to renew your current license? Is there somewhere that you are being asked to renew ahead of time?

Hi Jaime, we’d like to renew our current unlimited license which expires
on July 21st, 2018. Our fiscal year ends June 30. We have budgeted for the
renewal on the current FY, but I can’t be sure about next FY. That’s why
I’d like to renew as soon as possible.

I understand what you mean.  You should be fine to update ahead of time, if you have the option, and have your license extended for another year (ending July 2019).
