    Hello,
I am looking for an automatic way to remove expired events from database.
I have read this : https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/removing-expired-events-from-database/ but it seems the plugin The Events Calendar Housekeeper does not exist anymore…
Any idea to do this other than manually ? (I have thousands of events)
By the way, it would be nice if it was possible via the options in the plugin itself.
    Best regards,
    Alex

    Hi there Alex,

You’re quite correct – The Events Calendar Housekeeper was indeed removed from the plugin directory.

This was done at my request (I was the author – though it wasn’t actually an official Modern Tribe plugin) as I simply didn’t have time to update it and, alas, with recent changes to how recurrence works “under the hood” it would not be safe to use as-is without an extensive rewrite.

Right now then I am afraid there is not an official solution to this problem, but we’d certainly welcome a feature request for this sort of capability over on our UserVoice channel:

    tribe.uservoice.com

You may even find a similar request there already – which you can up-vote to add your support 🙂

Hi! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed. Thanks!
