ParticipantI am a new user of the Events Calednar Pro plugin, bought a business license for 3 sites, this is my first install.
I want to remove the filter/search from the top of the page. My client only has six or seven events a year and that big piece of space at the top of the page that holds the search/filter does not have to be there.
I looked in the knowledgebase and it says this:
Deactivating the bar
If you’re using the old templates or for any reason you don’t want to use the new bar, add this to your functions.php

add_filter( ‘tribe-events-bar-should-show’, ‘__return_false’,MY QUESTION IS: WHICH functions.php file? There are a bunch of them.

ModeratorJean,
Welcome and thank you for reaching out!
You typically add these types of snippets to your active theme’s functions.php file. If you have the Avada Child theme active, try pasting it in the functions.php file inside your Avada Child folder and save your changes.
home/websitenamewww/wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/functions.php
It’s best if you can do this using a text editor connected via FTP so if something goes wrong, you can simply undo the changes you made.
Please let me know if this helps and have a great evening. Cheers!

Thanks so much!
