Removing Calendar and Only Using List in Widget

Hello. I have Events Calendar Pro and have an events listing page. That’s fine, but I’d like to add a few upcoming events to my home page via a widget. I can get the widget to work, but do not want the calendar to show. Is it possible to only list 2-3 upcoming events in a widget? Thank you.

I would love to help you with this topic.

There are a few ways to achieve that:

1. You can use CSS here again to limit display
2. You could use a widget shortcode https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ with the right parameters to be extra specific as to how many events you want in the widget (usually through the list widget)
3. You could use a special event category for events showing on the home page to hand-pick the events manually
4. You could modify any of the widget views to your liking. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
