Remove "You have venues for which we don't have Geolocation information"

Hello,
We always have this warning – You have venues for which we don’t have Geolocation information. Click here to generate it.

All of our events are in the same small town so we don’t want to use the maps and just slow the site down. I believe I have maps unchecked everywhere.

How can we stop this warning?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

The easiest way to remove this would be to click the link and let it generate the data. This information is just stored in the post meta. If you are not using maps anyway, this will not affect your site performance.

Your other option would be just hide the notice with CSS.

I guess if you don’t have a Google Maps API key, it wouldn’t be able to do it.

Can you show me a screenshot of where you are seeing this warning?

If you’re not using Google Maps on your site, I’m not sure it should be showing this to begin with. Do you have Google Maps disabled in Events > Settings > General > Map Settings?
