Remove warning

Ok so everything works great.

But now I get this nagging warning on every page of my WordPress dashboard:

The page “Events” uses the “/events” slug: the Events Calendar plugin will show its calendar in place of the page.
Edit the page slug or edit The Events Calendar settings.

This is super annoying so how do I get rid of this. I have done everything correctly, I have deleted my events page and added the menu item through custom URL, so what gives?

Howdy Shon,

I am very sorry for the annoyance there. We added that error to help people identify problems, but for the occassional user it has misbehaved. The cause of this misbehaving has varried.

We would love to help you figure this out one way or another. Either here in our premium support forums, or in our volunteer community forums over on WordPress.org: The Events Calendar. Do you have a support license here, if so can you log in and post back or open a topic in the suppoort forums? If not, definitely open one up on the volunteer forums. Either  way folks can dive in and help you get to the bottom of this.
