Remove RSVP?

Hello,

We sell our tickets using WooCommerce. We never use RSVP.

RSVP is the default method for selling event tickets and the WooCommerce radio button has to be manually selected every time we create a ticket.

Is there a way of setting WooCommerce as the default selling option, or is it possible to remove the RSVP option completely, as we have no use for it?

Howdy Paul,

That’s a great idea! I’m afraid that isn’t a setting currently supported in the plugin, but I do see an open feature request for that that could use more votes. Will you please add your vote to it — that will help keep the idea on the radar as we add new ideas to upcoming releases.

Thanks for your reply.

I see the open feature request, which I created, but in the meantime do you happen to know which file this option resides in?

I could then just edit the line of code not to display the RSVP option.

We will soon be training quite a few administrators on how to use the system and removing unused options has the potential to make the learning process slightly easier.

/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/admin-views/meta-box.php

Of course, it’s wroth noting to use caution when installing future updates because the changes made to this template will be overridden.
