Remove recurrence setting for community event editor

In events-meta-box.php I see “do_action( ‘tribe_events_date_display’, $postId, true )”

Removing that successfully removes the recurrence drop down from the editor. But I’m a little confused with the name of that action… is it safe to remove that line or does it serve another function apart from the recurring event drop down?

Hi Jesse,

I think that’s the main and only purpose of that action. It should be safe to remove it but as always, you should test things out 🙂
