Remove One Instance from a Recurring Event

What’s the easiest way to turn off 1 event in a recurring series? We’ll be closed when we’d normally have events (aka, one instance of a recurring event needs to be disabled).

I’m looking to have this same question answered. I have an event every Sunday but for Christmas and New Years, the event is off that week. I would rather only have one event rather than creating three or four different events because I need to mark 2-3 Sundays off.

Nevermind, it appears that the recurring feature actually creates individual Event entries that can then be deleted. I will just delete the weeks I don’t need.

Yes you are correct, to remove a single instance of a recurring event just delete the date you do not want the event to be on and it will be removed.
