Remove non-UK cities, towns and areas from the "near" field in the search filter

All my events take place in the UK, London to be specific. However, when the user types a city or town into the “near” field in the search filter, American cities appear first. How can these be removed so that only UK areas appear?

This functionality is partly dependent on what the relevant Google API will do for us. It might be possible for instance to ‘sneak in’ the term UK at the end of the search term before it is pushed to Google (so London becomes London UK, etc) which may meet your needs. At this time though you would have to look into building such a customization by yourself.

However, we would absolutely welcome any feature request you might make along these lines.
