Remove image altogether Part 2

[Carolyn]

Hey Jonah,
The conditional formatting we did on the default template page didn’t end up being as conditional as we wanted. While it did kill the large image on the events page, it got rid of it on every page of the site (http://merchantstreet.server287.com/a/health-beauty/downtown-fitness-club/) as well as the blog pictures (http://merchantstreet.server287.com/a/shop-merchant-street-2-0/). Any help you could offer would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Carolyn,

Sorry about that, let’s try this again. For your page.php template try this: http://snippi.com/s/rlwrbgu and for single.php this: http://snippi.com/s/6r24e40

Let me know if that works better.

Regards,
Jonah

We’re getting closer! Now the blog pictures are coming up (http://www.merchantstreetdecatur.com/a/shop-merchant-street-2-0/) but the individual pages are not (http://www.merchantstreetdecatur.com/a/dining/bizou/).

[Jonah]

Hi Carolyn,

So you’re saying featured images are not showing up for pages?

– Jonah

[Carolyn]

Jonah,
That’s correct.

[Jonah]

And you’re sure that the page has a featured image set? I get a 404 page not found when I visit http://www.merchantstreetdecatur.com/a/dining/bizou/

– Jonah

[Carolyn]

Sorry about that. The address is http://www.merchantstreetdecatur.com/dining/bizou/ or any of the pages on http://www.merchantstreetdecatur.com. There is supposed to be a featured image set on each page.

[Jonah]

Thanks. Ok, try this for your page.php: http://snippi.com/s/w5cnxp5

Jonah, Still didn’t get the featured images back.

[Jonah]

Ok, would you mind sending me a copy of your theme? Please email to pro [at] tri [dot] be and reference this thread and attn. to me.

Thanks,
Jonah

Hi Carolyn, for whatever reason get_the_post_thumbnail() is not working in your theme. Try changing the code so it uses the_post_thumbnail() instead like so:

the_post_thumbnail('blog-full-width', array('class' => 'featured-full-width-top page-margin'));

That seems to work for me.
