Remove dashboard message about geolocation (a follow-up)

Hi, I previously asked about this here:

Now something odd has happened. I deactivated all my plugins to troubleshoot a problem, but the admin dashboard went blank (except for the admin menu to the left and the top bar).

I deleted all functions in my functions.php one by one, and it turned out the function you gave me in the above mentioned thread was the culprit.

Do you have any idea why this happens, and do you have any suggestions for how to modify it, so the admin panel doesn’t go blank when The Events Calendar plugin is deactivated?

I updated the snippet at that other forum reply to add a “class_exists” check. Hopefully that will resolve the issue for you.
