Reminder facility in events calendar

Is there a facility for people to get a reminder for an event – similar to what you see in the black bar near the top of this page> http://brookcity.churchonline.org/

Unfortunately, that is not a built-in functionality of our plugins.

However, you could achieve that with some custom coding.
