GuestIs there any update regarding new releases? It was my understanding that originally you were hoping for June release. Just looking for a ballpark so I can do some planning. Thanks.

MemberHi JJ,
Yes, we were hoping for a June release. In fact, we were all set to launch on Wednesday but ran into a critical bug. We’re want to launch a product that we’re confident in, and one that we know will integrate smoothly into people’s existing sites. Shipping yesterday would have meant broken widgets for many users, so we are delaying while we fix that and make sure the plugin is totally ready to go. It will still be soon 🙂 Thanks for your patience!

GuestWe want to purchase your product. We love how it looks and works except for the way you currently use categories to handle calendars for more than one user group. Will the new rev of Events Pro include an ability to in fact designate multiple calendars, not using categories? The category approach is problematic as some themes designate a default sidebar for all categories and that won’t work for us. If you will be using shortcode that we can use on a page or post, that would be ideal. Appreciate your letting us know.

MemberHi Elaine,
Thanks for your interest. At this time, it is not possible to create multiple calendars. You can make category-only calendars using links, as explained in this FAQ. Forgive me if that’s the method you were referring to which wouldn’t work- I am not 100% sure I understand what you’re saying about the theme and default sidebars. Shortcodes do not work well with The Events Calendar, so that is unfortunately not an option.
Also, as mentioned in the FAQ, we are working on a Filters Bar plugin add-on that will allow users to sort events by criteria like Event Category, Venue, Day, and more. We hope to be releasing that soon after 3.0.
I recommend that you download our free core plugin, The Events Calendar, and play with it before deciding to purchase PRO. That way you can see if it’ll work for you with no purchase needed. If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to start a new thread in this forum.

GuestHello, any updates on release for the new version of Woo: Tickets? I am looking for the added functionality of including a name for each ticket. I saw on the site something about support for version 3.0. So I was wondering if that means it is being released… now?
Thanks,
