GuestHi,
I’ve evaluating your software and have a few questions about registering.
All our events are free so there is no need for a payment, but we do require people to register.
I’ve installed the Registration plugin which requires a page with the shortcode, but it doesn’t seem to work on my site as you can see here: http://www.royallepagesignature.com/registration/
So then I started looking through the Knowledge base for a solution and saw somewhere were it says to use Woo Commerce, then somewhere else where there is an RSVP option. But it looks like the person has to register first. Is this the case?I simply want a person to register by clicking a button, filling out a form and getting an email. That’s it. What is the simplest way to do this?

MemberHi Tracy
RSVPs work in our free Event Tickets plugin. This does allow you to require people to log in before visitors can RSVP. It sounds like this is the plugin you need. Just be sure to view Events » Settings » Tickets to enable tickets to display on the types of posts/pages you want.
If you want additional functionality, Event Tickets Plus is our plugin for that. It includes details like QR code check-ins, etc. It requires keeping Event Tickets plugin installed, plus Event Tickets Plus, and also an e-commerce plugin. We currently support WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads. Read more about each option’s features and payment gateways.
We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ and Widget Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ for Events Calendar Pro https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
We have a few other shortcodes for things such as single events https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-single-events-tribe_event_inline-shortcode/.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

GuestSo you’re confirming that someone has to register with wordpress first…before they can register for an event?

MemberHi Tracy
Yes, you have the option to set it that way if you’d like.
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
