GuestHi Leah,
Does the plug in come with a registration platform? I’m thinking along the lines of a unique link that when clicked, will take people to a landing page where they enter their name & details, and it allows me, the admin, see how many people are registered – kind of like gotowebinar uses. Does the pro version with the eventbrite plug in offer this? thank you!

MemberHi Marc,
The Events Calendar Pro plugin does not come with a registration platform, but both of our ticketing plugins do. WooTickets (https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-wootickets/) keeps everything within the WP dashboard and you can view lists of attendees who have bought tickets. With Eventbrite Tickets (https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/) your ticketing and event registration goes through Eventbrite and you are able to see attendee lists and information through your account there.
Does that answer your question? I’m not familiar with gotowebinar, so I can’t compare directly. I recommend that you check out the Eventbrite Tickets New User Primer (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/eventbrite-tickets-new-user-primer/) to learn more about that plugin, and also check out the functionality available through Eventbrite itself.

GuestHi there.
Similar to Marc, I would like a solution for enabling visitors to register for a FREE event. Do you think WOO is the WAY to go?
Thanks a lotDecember 19, 2012 at 5:28 pm #29814Leah
MemberHi Matt,
It would depend on whether you’d like to keep everything within the WP install (as WooTickets does) or not (as with Eventbrite Tickets). Eventbrite itself may have some other features that you’d like to take advantage of, but both WooTickets and Eventbrite Tickets can handle free tickets.
Does that answer your question?
