I am considering upgrading to PRO but wondering if that will give me the capability to have locations saved so I can easily add to a new event without having to retype everything. Thanks!

With Events Calendar PRO, you can add venues from the back end of your site, so that when you create an event, you can add one of your already created venues easily.
