Recurring Events with Tickets

I am looking to set up a reoccurring event with different location, number of seats, and different speakers, I will also need to have tickets being sold to each event specifically, is it possible to do this using a recurring event or would I have to enter each one individually?

Another option I would like is to clone events, create a copy that I can then edit, does the system have this functionality?

Hi Frank and thanks for getting in touch!

I’m afraid that Event Tickets Plus does not yet support creating tickets for recurring events. Well, it does allow you to create tickets for them, but each ticket sold on any of the recurring event instances will count towards the same event — which is probably not ideal.

The good news is that we are working on this and hope to have it in our 4.3 release. We’re in the process of releasing 4.2 and 4.3 will follow later in the summer, if all goes according to plan. I don’t have a concrete date for when that is, but you can add your vote to the feature request and it will subscribe you to receive a notification when then feature has been released.

The Events Calendar doesn’t have a cloning feature, but I have used the Post Duplicator plugin successfully with The Events Calendar before and that seems to do the trick.
