    When an event is set to Recurrence Rules “EveryWeek”, the event doesn’t show up on the calendar except for the first instance. When the rule is changed to use custom frequency weekly same time, the recurring events work fine and show up correctly on the calendar. I have turned off all other plugins and switched to Twenty Fourteen theme and still have this issue.

    These events were imported from EC version 2. I find now that if I click update with recurrence rule weekly, it starts working. But i do have to go through all the events and resave them.

    Hey Anna,

    We have had some major updates with the way recurrence rules are set since version 2.0 so updates are required for older events. I apologize for any inconvenience in this part of that process.

    I’m glad you were able to find the answer to your original question there though.
