    Hello there!

    I think Modern Tribe should finally address this issue properly and fix it, so that tickets in recurring events no longer share the master instance’s ticket pool and instead have each their own ticket pool, which should be administratabe from either within each event in the series as well from with the master instance of the series.

    I was thinking of a drop down, from which the attached single event within the series could be picked, then save the ticket and it is available with a separate attendee list and all.

    I consider this a huge issue and of great importance and thus I am wondering how the MT team hasnt pushed its development further within the last months.

    In another thread I read that this issue has been addressed in the beginning of June 2016… it is October now. Should not be more than a week to implement proper code for events tickets plus to support recurring events properly.

    Currently I am working with so many workarounds to make this work in an acceptable manner for my client, that I am short before developing this missing functionality myself – however I think I paid three licenses (communityevents, event tickets plus and event calendar pro) and I kind of hoped that this really downvalueing flaw would be fixed before launching my client’s site. But now it is already October and nothing new about this has been released… so my hopes are down…

    Also the fact that attendee info, ticket and attached event and venue info arent inserted in order confirmation emails by default, arent inserted in cart info or checkout info by default or in my account order review by default, makes me question the proper implementation of event tickets plus with woocommerce.

    I added all of these details by coding it myself. But what do people do who can’t write this themselves? Who simply purchase the plugin thinking they something properly developed and integrated with woocommerce?

    I understand your policy of not giving support for customization issues in the forums. It is fine with me, however I do not consider the forementioned additional detail outputs within cart and checkout, order emails and my account page as customization – rather I’d call them proper implementation of plugin functionality.

    There is acutally a feature that I am really missing in Events Tickets Plus:
    Buy as gift / Buy as voucher
    Which allows purchasing the chosen tickets as gift for someone else, generating a pdf on demandor other voucher options, like a pretty card sent via postal mail instead of virtual product.
    Why hasn’t this been thought about yet? Or has it? Please consider adding this 🙂
    Currently I custom coded this functionality and used a thirdparty plugin as a base for this as it wouldnt work with tickets out of the box…

    Hi Saskia,

    I’m sorry you’re having issues with our plugins. 🙁 I’m going to address the ticket allocation issue, and ask that you open another thread for the other issues you’re experiencing, as we try to keep our conversations in the forum very targeted in order to provide the best support possible.

    Regarding allocating tickets, I would recommend not assigning a ticket to the series, but to single events if you need to set a limit on each event. You can also add all of these events to a single category in order to “link” them in a similar way that the recurring series shows that they’re associated.

    That method should work until we have a fix published in an upcoming release. You can also suggest or upvote that feature in our feature request system here.
