ParticipantHi,
Hoping someone may be able to shed light on this…
We’re using Events Calendar Pro alongside The Event Calendar and have a number of recurring events setup. They’ve been working fine ever since we set them up a number of months ago, but we’ve noticed a recent bug with recurring events and we can’t figure out what’s going on. I’ll give an example…
An event is setup to recur every week, with the end date set to December 21st 2016, however it is cutting off in List View on August 3rd, and in Calendar view on August 10th. No settings have changed in the event, everything is setup as it should be, and even when hovering over Recurring Event at the bottom of the event it says that the end date is December 21st..!
I’ve added some screenshots to indicate what’s going on, hopefully they’ll be of some help.
The example event in question is ‘Everybody Dance – Preston (every Wednesday)’, but this issue is related to all recurring events.
Plugins and theme are up to date, along with WP core.
Many thanks in advance!

ModeratorHello 🙂
Welcome to the forums! Thank you for being so thorough and including your System Information and screenshots. Let’s see if we can figure this out.
Do the events appear in the back end of the site? If you revert back to the default WP theme and deactivate all other plugins other than ours, do the events display correctly?
Thanks again and keep me updated with your findings.

ParticipantHi Hunter,
Thanks very much for your prompt reply! The events appear correctly in the backend, and we have tried disabling all plugins other than The Event Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. I have also just tested on a default theme on a staging server and still having the same issue. Please see http://dancetest.wpengine.com/events/month/?tribe-bar-date=2016-08-01
Thanks!
Josh

ModeratorHey Josh,
Thank you for the update. Can you send over a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date‘ section of the back end of an event showing signs of this odd behavior? Thanks again and have a great Thursday!

ModeratorHello 🙂
My apologies for not responding earlier, I was conversing with a few other team members. If you edit one of those recurring events, is there a notice at the top of the screen informing you that the instances are still being generated?
Let me know and we’ll continue investigating. Take care and sorry again for not responding sooner!
