Recurring Events Slows System Down

Hi,

We are running your Community Events & Calendar Pro on https://sarasotaarts.org/calendar.

We have a lot of community groups that are posting recurring events. Most of the events are a month to four months long performances with multiple exclusions and/or time variations.

When we go to the dashboard to approve the events the system is extremely slow and sometimes times out.
We have read a previous forum on this topic and have implemented caching plugins but it did not help.

Do you have any other suggestions to help with a robust community calendar?

Check the size of your database, we had a lot of trouble with events repeating with in the database under “options”.
